Convenient Placement of fingers for playing the sitar at ease would be advised.

For the intermediate level, Clear conception of ‘10 THAT’S related to North Indian Classical Music. ‘5RAGAS’ indicating the specific name of ‘THAT’S or performance of ‘5RAGAS’ and their knowledge in the form of ALAAP/ Jod, Vilambit & Drut BANDISHES(Mashidkhani, Rajakhani) TAAN & For Advanced level students, Demonstrations of Alap, Jod Maseetkhani and Rajakhani gats with tan-s etc 1. Short notes Alap, Tan, Moorchana, Gat, Layakari, Jod, Jati, Thaat. 2. Narration and definitions of Maseetkhani and Razakhani & Ali Rajakhani gats.3. Definition of the following Musical Terms: - Raga; Swar’ Sruti; Tan; Alamkar; Palta; Nada; Gram; Sthayi; Tali; Khali; Som; Pakad; Barna; Vadi; Samavadi; Barjya Swara; Shadav; Audav; Sampurna etc.
