Sayan Kabiraj

Highly dedicated and experienced Indian Classical Music Vocal teacher with 13 years of experience, passionate about guiding students from the roots and spreading music to the new generation for their growth. I am a National Scholar at CCRT New Delhi.

Sayan Kabiraj was born into a family with a deep-rooted love for music. He was initiated into music by his father, Sri Bidhan Chandra Kabiraj and his elder sister Smt. Debalina kabiraj  at the age of 8 . At the age of sixteen, Sayan began his talim under the distinguished guidance of Pt. Sandip Bhattacharjee for 6 years, He is an ex senior Scholar of ITC. His Guru is  Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan and Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan, sons and disciples of the late legendary Sarangi Maestro Padmashree Ustad Shakoor Khan. Sayan was trained under the Kirana Gharana's genuine Guru Shishya parampara style. 
Sayan has a Bachelor's degree in classical music from Calcutta University ( Bengal Music College ) in Kolkata, where he received First Class Second position. Now he is a graduate of Classical Music Khayal from Calcutta University with 83.5%.
