Sayak Mukherjee

In my current role as a Laboratory Mentor (Robotics Instructor) at the
Innovation Lab under the Government of India, I have the privilege of
implementing hands-on projects in various fields such as computer science,
robotics, and electronics. My responsibilities include mentoring school
students in their innovative project work, organizing scientific workshops,
science camps, lectures, and events. Here, I have demonstrated my ability to
identify students' strengths and areas for improvement and provide tailored
support to help them achieve their full potential. I am also adept at classroom
management and resourceful in setting up lessons to optimize learning
experiences. Additionally, I have experience with handling 3D printer, Lego
(Mindstorm, EV3, Spike), Inverter Kit, IOT-oriented mechatronics model
making, telescope handling, VEX-VR coding, Scratch coding, Arduino,
Python and AI-based software as well as hardware project implementations.
My academic background includes a Master of Science in Electronic Science
and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Electronics from the University of
Calcutta, India. I have also completed internships and training programs
focused on embedded systems, microcontroller technology, and VLSI design.
These experiences have provided me with a strong foundation in both
theoretical knowledge and practical skills relevant to STEM education.
I am drawn to the prospect of being part of an international community that
prioritizes the development of future-relevant skills through STEM education
(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). I am eager to leverage my
skills and experience to support the delivery of a forward-thinking curriculum
that empowers students to excel in a rapidly evolving world. My experience
includes working with students aged 5 to 18, where I have successfully
motivated and engaged them in hands-on learning activities to enhance their
understanding and mastery of STEM concepts.
My basic understanding of early coding allows me to facilitate the integration
of technology into the learning process effectively. Additionally, my excellent
communication and collaboration skills enable me to work effectively with
both students and teachers to create a supportive and enriching learning
environment.
