I am an English trained post graduate teacher working in one of the reputed CBSE schools of Kolkata for 34 years, competent enough to teach from classes VI - XII. I have acquired my education from Kolkata and has the knowledge of Tamil and Malayalam.I have studied in English medium school with Hindi as compulsory second language and Bengali as compulsory third language. Besides,I acquired basic knowledge in Sanskrit.
I focus on RWLS skills and nurture the students to be an independent in framing and expressing their views.I attended various seminars and workshops conducted by CBSE board and other organisations as and when the new system in education is brought into force.
I have an experience of giving tutions only to the selective students from the boards of West Bengal ,ICSE, ISC and CBSE ,specially to the mediocre students.
I believe in students' success as I make them the concept of the content clear. I am against rote learning and lay emphasis on thinking and creative skills.
I have worked as an editor of the school souvenir for many years and also as HOD of the English department.
