Music has always been my passion, and for the past 20 years, I have been dedicated to teaching the keyboard and piano to students of all ages. I believe that learning to play an instrument is not just about mastering techniques but also about developing a deep connection with music. My goal is to guide my students on this journey, helping them build confidence and express themselves through melodies.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, and over the years, I have developed a structured yet flexible approach to teaching. Whether a student is a complete beginner or has some prior experience, I tailor my lessons to suit their skill level and learning pace. I focus on developing strong fundamentals, including finger techniques, rhythm, and sight-reading, ensuring that students gain a solid foundation.

I prefer teaching offline, either at my place or at the student’s location, as it allows for better hands-on instruction and real-time feedback. One-on-one or small group sessions create an environment where students can engage more deeply with their learning and receive personalized attention.

My teaching style is designed to be practical and enjoyable, ensuring that students stay motivated throughout their learning process. I encourage students to explore different styles of music, from classical to contemporary, so that they can find their unique musical identity. Each lesson is structured to help them progress steadily while keeping the learning experience fun and engaging.

For students who wish to pursue formal certification, I provide guidance for Trinity College London’s Grade 1, 2, and 3 exams. These certifications help students gain recognition for their skills and set a strong foundation for advanced musical studies. I help students prepare for these exams by focusing on technique, theory, and performance skills.

Although I do not use extensive digital resources, I ensure that my students receive all the necessary study materials and practice exercises to reinforce their learning. Regular practice sessions, performance drills, and ear training exercises are an integral part of my teaching approach.

My ultimate aim is to inspire my students to appreciate and enjoy music while developing strong technical abilities. Whether they want to learn for personal enjoyment, perform on stage, or achieve certification, I am committed to supporting them every step of the way.
