IdentityI believe that young kids should be taught in a fun-filled way so as to develop interest in the subject, rather than turning it into a mandatory tedious duty for them.
For my focus areas (Mathematics and Science), I always stress in learning the concept rather than rote learning. In my experience, concepts always provide better understanding and a strong base allows the student to decipher the next steps with minimum guidance.
A mother of two daughters, I took a short break from teaching to teach my kids. Now that they are both off to colleges, I am looking forward to teach and help young kids again!
