I am a Indian Classical and Semi Classical( thumri,dadra, bhajan, ghazal, old melodies ) vocalist, performer and teacher.I am belonging from Kirana Gharana and Bishnupur gharana. I am Master digree holder on Vocal Music From UGC recognized university,
I have been teaching since last 15 years, i have gathered lots of experiences during my teaching profession, i had experience that same teaching process is not applicable for all types of students, though some basics techniques are there but teacher 's teaching process should be change according to students age, merits, learning capacities.
In the learning of Indian Classical Music I always trained my students both practically and theoretically.

I don't want to learn deep hindustaani classical music. I want as much so that i can sing bollywood songs properly. Means i don't want to go with gazal and all. So is that possible in 3-4 year of regular class with regular riyaz..???

Though you don't know anything about singing,first u should learn voi ce training,after that u decide whether you wants to learn Hindustani classical music or not........but I would say our Indian music whether it's light or classical always based on Raga....u should know about Raga...then u will... ...more

I want to start vocal classes, but I am confused whether to go with a personal teacher or any institute (one to one only). I have not done with any vocal classes till now. Please suggest me what I should choose?

U should attend individual class.Group classes not working for you..
