? Coordinate work efforts with other departments such as finance and operations to ensure integration and completion of work as per expectations.
? Plan for future requirements with an eye on historical data and generating the future requirements on the basis of regression analysis so that there is no shortage of raw materials affecting the business.
? Align the procurement and logistic in such a way that the purchased material is within the agreed norms of quantity and cost.
? Influence suppliers’ manufacturing processes, technology decisions and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for both organizations.
? Renegotiate, renew the supplier contracts. Develop a negotiation strategy that delivers against business objectives and achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers.
? Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk and protect continuity of supply.
? Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models.

Contract Management:
? Managing the bidding process from floating of bids to awarding of contracts; coordinating with bidders with regard to negotiations.
? Coordinating with external agencies for techno-commercial negotiations, preparation of tender / contract documents, cost estimates, including billing, variation / deviation proposals, claims, etc.
? Interpreting the contractual obligations and the rights and evaluating the technical / financial problems for the management reporting; addressing legal issues with clients or subcontractors and providing advice to project managers in these respects.

Project Management & Controlling:
? Developing project baselines; monitoring & controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects.
? Formulating operating budgets and managing overall operations for executing civil / mechanical / electrical projects within cost & time norms; organising project review meetings for evaluating project progress & de-bottlenecking.
? Holding the architectural competitions, supervising and managing the architects & other agencies involved in large scale projects; evaluating projects feasibility, preparing project feasibility report and determining the viability based on the technical, financial & economic parameters.
? Preparing the financial estimation and review of the cost / funding requirements of the project as well as projecting the funds requirement over the project period.
? Assessing the requirement of funds and the amount that could be surrendered so as to reduce on commitment costs while ensuring adequate funds for the project.
? Monitoring and evaluating the project activities including physical and financial progress.

Finance/Accounts & Taxation Management:
? Overall management of Debtors & Creditors, Liaison with customers & vendors

? Having almost 5 years of SAP R/3 FI module (G/L, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, TDS Accounting, Vendor Creation) application exposure.
? Handled SD module (Sales Order Up-loading, Price Maintenance, Customer Creation, Excise Chapter Id Maintenance, Release of Orders, Export Invoicing and Sales Return Accounting).
? Also having 2 years of experience in Oracle Financial, both in 11i & R12.

Administration & HR Functions:
