IdentityNectar, headquartered in Kolkata, started its journey in 2008 as an IT consulting company. Under the chief mentorship of Peter Mukerjea, ex-CEO of Star TV India, few young engineering professionals got together to transform their entrepreneurial dreams into reality. It added few more like-minded people into the leadership team while continuing its journey.
During the initial years it was extremely active in reselling solutions of industry giants like IBM, Sybase etc. In order to respond to the market demands Nectar set up its Placement Incubation department to bridge the gap between the industry and academia. It started taking care of the outsourced resources of PWC and the likes.
Nectar didn’t miss out on taking a serious note of the scarcity of skilled and competent workforce in today’s industry – ever-changing and increasingly dynamic. It joined hands with Oracle to begin with imparting its Oracle University official WDP curriculum in 2012. Various other branches of IT, non-IT and non technical/soft skills training solutions were added to its bouquet of training solutions. Now with an active focus of a ‘Total Training Solution Company’, Nectar makes its presence felt in the educational institutes, corporate enterprises and individuals with specific training needs.
