Nayandeep Sardar

I am a postgraduate scholar in Politics and International Relations at Pondicherry University, with a keen research focus on globalization, indigenous communities, public policy, and political narratives. He has presented papers at international conferences, including the 6th International Conference on Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts (ICSHA) in Nice, France. His published works include studies on Gramsci’s hegemony, Vivekananda’s vision, and AI governance. I have also contributed book chapters, journals and online articles on South Asian politics and diplomacy. He has interned with the Foreign Policy Research Centre (FPRC) and the International Journal for Multidisciplinary Research Review and Studies (IJMRRS). He will present a paper titled "Media Freedom and Autocratization: Strategies for Preserving Press Independence in South Asia" at the 28th IPSA World Congress of Political Science in Seoul, South Korea (July 2025). His abstract has also been selected for publication in “The Sociological Quarterly” (Routledge - Taylor & Francis Group) on Sociological Perspectives on Student Activism.
