Mainak Nandy

I am a full time Musician/Music teacher. Have been teaching Guitar , Keyboards and vocal since last 15 years now. Worked as a music teacher in Delhi Public School Guwahati from year 2003 to 2008. I am a bachelor’s Degree holder (B.Muse, Visharad) in Indian Classical vocal from Bhatkhande Music vidyalaya, Lucknow. I have performed as a singer and guitar player all over the country and also abroad in countries such as Singapore, South Korea, China to name a few. I was among the finalists of the popular TV show India’s Got Talent In the year 2009 with my band M Sonic. My band M sonic has a very good and genuine followers all over the country and also on social media.
My original compositions have been featured on MTV INDIES.
I have also worked as a Music composer for short films, TV ads and jingles as well for popular brands and Production houses. Music teaching is like a passion to me, Nowadays teaching approach has changed a lot. It must be very practical rather than only theoretical, IT must be fun also which can drive you passionate about the instrument.
