Computer Aided Design – CAD

CAD is technology concerned with using computer systems to assist in

the creation, modification, analysis, and optimization of a design. Any

computer program that embodies computer graphics and an application

program facilitating engineering functions in design process can be

classified as CAD software.

The most basic role of CAD is to define the geometry of design – a

mechanical part, a product assembly, an architectural structure, an

electronic circuit, a building layout, etc. The greatest benefits of CAD

systems are that they can save considerable time and reduce errors

caused by otherwise having to redefine the geometry of the design from

scratch every time it is needed.

Computer Aided Manufacturing – CAM

CAM technology involves computer systems that plan, manage, and

control the manufacturing operations through computer interface with

the plant’s production resources. One of the most important areas of

CAM is numerical control (NC). This is the technique of using

programmed instructions to control a machine tool, which cuts, mills,

grinds, punches or turns raw stock into a finished part. Another

significant CAM function is in the programming of robots. Process

planning is also a target of computer automation.

About Training Procedure

We created a real life industrial environment at our lab for you applying all

modern and sophisticated Cad/Cam software which are using in various

industrial plants using in India & overseas. Due to fast development in

CAD/CAM, there is constant need for every industry with Cad/Cam

applications to train & upgrade their technical workforce. To consider these

ardent needs, Dream Computer Centre specially designed courses for

industrial workforce, which is individually cared.

Institute’s Rules & regulation:


All kind of receipts/ fees will be treated as donation / subscription as per

the West Bengal Societies registration Act xxvi’ 1961 – Rules 1963.


Eligibility test in compulsory for admission for a specific course other than

courses fixed for the professional from the industry only.


Course has to be completed by any participant within the specified time set

by the institute.


The institute reserves the right to change or implement, introduce /

modify party the training method or procedure, can change / withdraw

study materials, training components etc. which suits best for the

betterment of the existing student and training method. The course during

time may vary due to nonfunctional of software, electronic / accessories

etc.


In case any request regarding extension / change of course type / duration

/ shift timing from any existing student he / she have to seek permission

from management.


In case of any damage or loss is caused to the institute by the student for

any reason whatever; he/ she may have to compensate for the same

immediately, computers, equipments and other properties without loss or

damage. This is a collective responsibility of all the students.


Institute is hereby declares that there is absolutely no guarantee or any

kind of assurances regarding employment or placement in any manner

after successful completion of course or certification.


Students are not allowed to be absent without information or permission

for the same. 75% attendance of the total number of actual working days

will be regarded as satisfactory. Students having less than 75% of

attendance will not be eligible for appearing in the final examination. 65%

of attendance will also be considered for the internal assessment.


Examination: internal and final examinations will be conducted for each

batch. After publishing of the results, certificates will be issued within a

short period. A student will be allowed to attempt the Examination only

for two chances.


Certificates: A student is awarded a certificate after passing out the final

examination with minimum 40% marks. A student is also awarded course

certificates for a specific course in Computer Sc. And Automation, based

on their academic qualifications after passing out with minimum 40%

marks. Thus the student will be granted dual certification which is the

unique specialty of this course. The student will not be awarded any

certificate in case of any out-standing dues.
