The course is designed to meet the escalating and ever evolving demands of the fashion industry and develops you as a strong industry oriented professional. The course focuses on various stages involved in design and development of the product. The course develops in you the aesthetic skills and the technical skills required to become a successful fashion designer. The program is designed to focus on core area of design and garment construction. It helps in acquiring basic skills required for starting a career in the industry of Fashion. The curriculum shall professionally equip you in the area of design, model drawing, garment construction and other processes involved in the development of the product.

On completion of the course the students can work as a designer or in an export house.Students also learn how to launch their own brands. The programmes enable students to acquire a greater appreciation for design, develop a deeper sensibility towards fashion aesthetics in addition to nurturing their individual creative potential. Finally students acquire the ability to conceptualise, design, produce and showcase their collection with confidence and zeal.

As part of the WLCI Trainee ship programme the students are given the opportunity to work with leading fashion designers, production and buying houses while pursuing the course. On completion, students can choose from a wide range of careers in the field of fashion to work as Fashion/Costume Designer, Fashion Illustrator, Fashion Forecaster, Quality controller, Merchandiser, Production Manager and Sourcing Manager.
