IdentityMy interest in experiential educational research and pedagogy inspired me to teach Sociology and Political Science to high school students. My role here was to teach in both the CISCE and the CBSE program as a postgraduate teacher. In addition to this, I was assigned as a student welfare advisor to train and direct the student council in my last school.
I have successfully employed an experiential approach to teaching and found that this led to many positive student outcomes, such as a renewed interest in students to engage in social welfare projects and action based research. As a teacher guide to the Culinary club in school, I engaged my students in farming and composting to build environmental sensitivity. I make a link between food and social movement about slow food practices. A key element of my career is helping students reach their potential, which I work towards by focusing on the individual abilities of students when teaching.
