IdentityI have completed M.A in English from Rabindra Bharati University (regular) and B.Ed from K.S.S Jain College.
Presently, I am working as an assistant English teacher in a reputed English medium school in South Kolkata.
As part of the B.Ed internship program, I have worked as an assistant English teacher at Dumdum Jawaharlal Nehru Vidyapith for 4 and a half months.
In this role, I was responsible for 40 students in the classroom, which has allowed me to refine my skills handling extreme behavioural issues while maintaining a focused class. In my present school, the teacher-student ratio is 15:1, which allows me to focus on the students, individually.
I am multilingual, therefore can speak Bengali, English and Hindi. Also can communicate complex information in an understandable way students can easily comprehend. I also have prior experience of adopting unique teaching methodologies, documenting all lessons, organising healthy group discussions, and providing remedial tuition to the weaker students.
