Asmita Bhattacharjee, is a long time student of Indian Classical Music . She received regular training under the guidance of Smt. Chandana Chakraborty, wife of the legendary Padma Shri Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty.
In the present days she gets regular training under the guidance of Shri. Deborshee Bhattacharjee, one of the senior most disciple of the legendary Padma Shri Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty.

Asmita is a National Scholar from Ministry of Culture, Govt of India in Hindustani Light Classical Music (Thumri, Dadra, Tappa), and a Graded Artist in All India Radio. She was also awarded with a Second rank in the Talent Search Contest held by the prestigious Doverlane Music Academy. She is also recipient of prestigious award like Murari etc.

She regularly performs Kheyal, Thumri and Bhajan at various online and offline platforms and is also training beginners and intermediate level students through skype and zoom.
