I am the son and disciple of Ustad Sabir khan of Farukhabad gharana . I am the 34th descendant of the 900 yrs old legacy of one of the oldest school of tabla in Indian classical music history . My ancestors invented tabla . I teach in the most authentic “Guru-Shishya paramapara” system under which I understand the students nature and teach accordingly. I am very friendly with kids and I can gel with any age group with ease . I follow the traditional system and while teaching I like giving insight knowledge about the nuances of tabla and it’s origin . I believe that Indian classical music is our heritage and as Indian it is our utmost duty to be well versed about our heritage . In short I don’t teach for the sake of teaching , I teach to create artists .
