PROFILE

I am an honor roll musician who is passionate about working with music and also good with people, having been praised for my musical sense and qualities. Myself is one of the well-established and skilled Sarod player of Kolkata is blessed with an exceptional artistic temperament, exacting technical precision and a rare aesthetic sensibility. I have collected music embodies the true heritage of Hindustani Classical music. Virtuosity on the sarod makes his exploration of Ragas and an exercise in harmony and tranquility. Mine serious meditative approach makes me music literally soar to unscaled heights of fulfillment. I am considered as one of the most engaging intelligent talented young instrumentalist in Hindustani Classical Music.
I have started my musical training under Pandit Kamal Mallick. Then I was continued my training under Dr Anirban Ghosh of Bishnupur Gharana. Presently I am the finest disciple of Sarod Maestro Pandit Partho Sarothy. With these long and illustrious training under these great gurus combined with an inherent creative sensibility, My music is truly a symphony in serenity.

i am certified in M.A of Arts (Sarod) from Rabindra Bharati University.




ACHIEVEMENT

1) Achieved the Scholarship of Sarod under the INDIAN MINISTRY OF CULTURE (GOVT, OF INDIA) in 2005.

2) Junior and Senior Diploma of Music(Sarod) from SARBA BHARATIYA SANGEET O SANSKRITI PARISHAD Kolkata and also get the Certificate of Merit from there.

3) Achieved the "Peace Musician Certificate" from "MORE" (Musical Oasis For Resurrection, U.S.A ) at Kalakunja, Kolkata.

4) He is an empanelled artist of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) since 2019.
