I am a music teacher and performer since 1989(25+ years experience). I have a PhD in Vocal Music(Bengali Tappa) from Rabindra Bharati University. I did my Masters in Vocal Music(First Class First) also from RBU. I am also a regular music performer at All India Radio-Akashvani( A-grade in Nazrul Geeti and B-High in Shyama Sangeet) and DD Bangla and previously performed in Tara Music. I teach Bengali Songs( Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti, Atul Prasad, Rajanikanta ,Dwijendra Geeti, Puratoni, Tappa , Folk Songs and Raagpradhan ). I am a Former Scholar from West Bengal State Music Academy(Thungri and Tappa). I am also a Former Senior Fellow at Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
I was also a Guest Lecturer at Rabindra Bharati University in Distance Education.
