Tutoring online helped me to learn a lot of things. It’s not just about teaching the students, rather it goes beyond that in terms of understanding the student’s needs, the concept areas where they are lacking, facilitating easy interaction and developing a cordial teacher-student relationship. In my opinion, a tutor is successful when he sees his students excel in his academics and for that the tutor should follow certain strict disciplines. Over 3,500 hours of tutoring online on a 1-on-1 platform, I have learned Patience, consistency, a sense of cooperation, positivity, empathy etc. So far, I have helped over 1,500 students and, in this process, I’ve also learned a great deal about people management skills.
