i would teach different techniques in silk painting using steam paints as well as iron fixed paints
At this class we can paint a stole and a wall pie and will teach you basic techniques of silk painting in a variety of ways using salt, alcohol or wax to create special effects and flowing designs. Projects will be selected with you to suit your experience, starting with simple pieces for the beginner, progressing to more challenging works and techniques allowing you to develop your silk painting skills.

Silk fabric dyes(suitable for fixation by steaming)
Frame for stretching silk in preparation for painting
Paint brushes - a good selection of brushes is essential sizes 2,4,8,10 plus
A larger Chinese or form brush for backgrounds and large areas
Masking tape
Old brushes for using with wax
Small jars ( water)
Pencils for drawing
Thumb pins
