Basics Of Music Piano/ Keyboard

Hello

Want to be musicians? I am posting a lesson on the basics of piano

Its a theory lecture but I always recommend students to my students to spend more time on developing your skill part (practically)

So let us begin the lesson.

In music whether its an Indian classic or western classical there are seven natural notes

Which is very important to learn and understand the totality of these notes

Why these are important because these are the notes which will help you to find a song and chord you move forth in your music career

So let us know the note.

Indian style - SA RE GA MA PA DHA NI

Western-style - DO RE MI FA SO LA TI

the frequency and tonality in both the cases are same, and the only language is different and nothing else

So we need to practice these notes and try to understand and identify them by ear this helps us to find any song on the keyboard.

Now the second part

As we said there are seven natural, so in music theory, these all seven note have their own sets with different frequencies and pitch those sets we call them scales

And we have named them like C D E F G A B major and minor scales.

We also have a sharp and flat scales these are the one with half note up, or half note high in our next lesson will learn to identify the note on piano board and sharps/flats
