Kendriya vidyalaya No.1 FARIDABAD, one of the pilot institutes of learning of the city is situated in N.H.-IV FBD. C.G.O. complex. This hot seat of learning was established in 1965 and covers 5 acres of land. The vidyalaya is affiliated to C.B.S.E. and is run by an autonomous body Kendriya vidyalaya sangthan monitored by ministry of Human resource Govt. of India.The vidyalaya imparts free education up to class VIII to all its pupils and up to class XII for S.C., S.T. and girl students.
K.V. NO.1 FBD prepares students for AISSE & AISSCE examination conducted by C.B.S.E. New Delhi.The instructions are imparted through Hindi & English.
