I have a one-year experience in teaching music, and I hold a Master's degree in Music. Since childhood, I have been deeply passionate about music, and my desire to share this passion with others has always driven me. I used to teach music in my hometown and recently began teaching at Urban Pro for the past two months.
I have had the opportunity to perform in various stage shows, which has honed my skills and allowed me to connect with diverse audiences. My area of expertise is teaching vocal music, specifically classical and semi-classical Hindustani styles. Whether online or offline, my teaching approach is interactive, focusing on providing students with a solid foundation and practical skills.
To ensure effective learning, I utilise a range of resources and techniques. I provide students with detailed explanations, emphasising the basics while encouraging them to apply their knowledge practically. I offer PDF notes, recording links, and raag references to supplement their learning experience. Additionally, I provide audio and video links that serve as valuable resources for my students.
Teaching music is not just about imparting technical knowledge; it's about instilling a love for the art form and nurturing individual creativity. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where my students can feel comfortable exploring their musical abilities and expressing themselves. My teaching philosophy is centred around tailoring the lessons to each student's unique needs and goals. By understanding their strengths and areas of improvement, I can adapt my teaching style to cater to their requirements.
