Theory of Machines is an extension of Engineering Mechanics and preliminary for Machine Design. Those who are aspiring to work in the fields of Mechanical Design/Robotics etc. must have a basic understanding of the concepts of this subject. In this course, few basic topics of Theory of Machines will be taught in GATE perspective with limited numerical (previous GATE Questions). Hence, this will be helpful for GATE aspirants.
The course study takes reference from GATE lecture notes and "Theory of Machines" textbook by SS RATAN.
Topics of Interest that will be taught are:
1. Introduction to Mechanisms (4 hours)
2. Velocity and Acceleration Analysis of Planar Mechanisms (6 hours)
3. CAM & Followers (4 hours)
4. Gear and Gear Trains (6 hours)
5. Governors (4 hours)
6. Flywheels (4 hours)
Two to three extra hours for Doubts/clarifications

Mode of Payment:
Rs 1000 advance to be paid before 10th June 2018. Remaining amount to be paid immediately after first three classes of the subject. Account details will be posted personally to those who confirms (by sending a mail) of joining the course.
