I spoke to the school on the 080 2297 0133 for the LKG Admission but they said they don't have LKG admission .. they only take from Pre-nursery is that true? .If anyone knows about it kindly pls guide me how to approach to the school.

Hi Ratheesh, My daughter is stuyding in pre-nursery. Activities looks fine. They have colouring, fancy dress competition, speech, recitation etc. Every friday they allow the kids to play and enjoy. They also teach some sanskrit prayers, which I think is very good as it improves the diction. Overall, I am satisfied. There is not much pressure on the... more»

In august last week when i contacted tjhe school office they told for pre nursery forms issue will start last week of september.
Any info on how the pre nursery schooling in jss?Like activities wise

My daughter is studying in pre-nursery in JSS public school. Last year, the application forms were distributed in September last week and the entire process of admission got over by October. So, it would be better to contact the school authorities directly for more information

Among other schools which boasts of providing unnecessary facilities like A/c classrooms etc and hiking the fees appropriately, J.S.S school is a very good school which caters to middle class values and inculcates good practises to students. My child is in U.K.G and has been going to the school since pre-nursery. The teachers speak only in English with children and it does no harm to speak a few words to nursery children in their own language when there is a need. We are also tamil speaking ppl. My daughter speaks good english now. Of all, the Principal is very approchable and for any reason we have to speak to him, he has no qualms abt it and very helpful and takes corrective action appropriately. Its a part of a large institution which is not very much seen in other schools.
So their fundamentals are quite strong. «less

teachers speak only in english with the children!! my daughter's english improved too here!! they might speak kannada among themselves some of them being kannadigas but that doesn't mean they speak kannada only with children!!but there are lot of teacher who are non kannadiga too. speaking in their native language among themselves is no sin i suppose !! more»

i wish to know about the school environment, teaching, caring of children and transportation etc., please advice me truly, because i have to admit my daughter in nursery this year, and one more doubt is that many teachers speak kannada only. we are tamilians and my daughter will face language problem also.

As I said earlier, my daughter is in nursery this year (2011). Since, I received positive feedback, I have enrolled my child there. Obviously, every parent would want to put their kids in a good school. Since, I am an kannadiga, I have no problems in my child learning the language. Its too early for me to comment about my personal experiences on this school. more»

Hi,
The fee structure of nursery is Rs. 30,000 (admission) and Rs. 25,000 (tution fees). Age critieria is that the child should be 2 years 8 months as on september of the current year.
