IdentityI am a second year student in Delhi University pursuing BA in History and Political Science. I have a huge interest in learning new languages.
I moved back to my village because of the pandemic and worked as an English teaching intern in one of the schools affiliated with CBSE there. While handling the CBSE English curriculum from class 1-10 and teaching the subject to 350+ students, I was able to help them recover back from the educational interruption they encountered because of the pandemic and lack of online teaching facilities. During my stay in the school I used the opportunity to promote creative activities like origami among small children, and spread awareness about menstruation, personal hygiene, sex education and body positivity among teenagers who remain deprived of such discussions because of the societal misbelieves and taboos.
My six months of experience as a teacher was both learning and teaching equally and I enjoyed every bit of mischievousness,liveliness and curiosity of young children. I love the company of such students and I would be more than happy to teach and interact the creative minds
