IdentityJhankriti is a Kathak Artist, Disciple of Kathak Maestro Guru Dr. Shashi Sankhla ji. She has been a Ministry of Culture, Government of India Senior Scholarship awardee and a member of UNESCO's International Dance Council. Jhankriti is a University Gold Medalist, Double Master's and a Doctoral Research Scholar in Kathak from University of Rajasthan.
A highly qualified professional Performing Artist, she has performed at various prestigious Dance festivals organized by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India, Govt of Rajasthan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade of Hungary, among others.
She has been running her own Dance Academy ‘नृत्यनाद by Jhankriti', propagating the ancient Indian Classical Dance form of Kathak to the students both within and outside India to connect our younger generations with our rich Indian Arts & Culture. She has students based in the US, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Australia, Bangalore, Jaipur, etc. She has a teaching experience of almost 8 years with her institute successfully running for 5 years now.
