Dr. Abhishek Singh

Dr. Abhishek Singh is a dedicated academic professional with over 21 years of experience in the field of engineering education. His career objective is to impart technical education for the overall improvement of society and to serve the community efficiently through his knowledge and vision.

Dr. Singh's educational background is robust, having earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Glocal University, Saharanpur in 2023, an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from D.E.I. Agra in 2006, and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from ZHCET, Aligarh Muslim University in 2002.

His professional journey began as a Lecturer at Anand Engineering College in Agra, where he developed a state-of-the-art Control System lab and guided industrial training projects. He then advanced to the role of Head of the Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department at I.I.M.T. Engineering College, Meerut. During his tenure at Vidya College of Engineering, Meerut, he served as an Assistant Professor, contributing significantly to the department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Dr. Singh’s leadership capabilities were further demonstrated at SKSGI Mathura, where he held multiple roles including Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Electrical Engineering, and Controller of Examination. He also served as the Director of Sanskriti Polytechnic in Mathura and took on additional responsibilities as the Incharge of the R&D cell and Training & Placement cell at the institution.

Since July 2016, Dr. Singh has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur. He also coordinates NAAC and NBA accreditations at the departmental level and is a member of the IQAC cell at the institute level.

Dr. Singh's research interests include Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Data Structures, Machine Learning, Big Data Analysis, Fuzzy Logic, Optimal Control, and Adaptive Control. He has a strong command over MATLAB and other technical tools and languages including C++ and Python. His notable projects include works on Backpropagation Neural Networks, Energy and Reserve Dispatch, and Automatic Load Frequency Control using MATLAB, presented at various prestigious IEEE conferences.

Throughout his career, Dr. Singh has demonstrated a commitment to professional development and community service. He has organized and participated in numerous workshops and seminars on advanced engineering topics. His achievements also include several key roles such as the Group Leader of Observers for final examinations conducted by UPTU-Lucknow, Head Examiner for evaluation of semester answer sheets, and Dy. Coordinator and Head of the Evaluation Cell at SIEM Mathura.

In addition to his technical prowess, Dr. Singh is known for his strong communication and teamwork skills, simplicity, and sincerity. He has been a Fellowship recipient from the Systems Society of India, New Delhi, and has actively participated in community services such as blood donation camps.

Dr. Singh's personal interests extend to advisory roles in the Robotic & Automation Society of IEEE Rajasthan Chapter and engaging in industry-institute interaction projects. He is fluent in both English and Hindi and values transparency, simplicity, and sincerity in his professional and personal life.
