IdentityI have more than 45 years of experience teaching in a Government College in Indore from where I retired as a Professor of English. I have earned an M.A., and a Ph.D. in English Literature. Post-retirement, I continue to be professionally active in academia. Currently, I am a Visiting Faculty in the School of Languages at the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (D.A.V.V.), Indore i.e. Indore University. Here, I teach students who are pursuing an M.A. and an M.Phil in English. I also teach a course on Research Methodology to students pursuing doctoral work in English. Through this course, I teach them skills of academic and professional writing. I also continue to advise research scholars on the art of publishing and editing. I have an immense passion for teaching and continue to enjoy mentoring students.
In the recent past, I have taught in the capacity of a visiting faculty at numerous institutions like the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore. At IIM, I taught a course on American Literature and Communication Skills to M.B.A. students. Similarly, I was a guest faculty at the School of Law, the School of Engineering, and the School of Journalism at D.A.V.V., Indore. I have expertise in teaching various facets of English Language: Grammar and Composition, Note making, Reading Comprehension, Professional Report and Legal Writing, and Oral Communication. I have also been tutoring students from various schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
