Here are some essential skills that I believe I can commit to and strive for successful training in the English skills: Teaching goals • Successfully train students in the writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills by using suitable resources and applying effective pedagogical strategies. • Make sure that the lessons are suitably interactive, engage by using varied resources in the form of audios, visuals, worksheets, handouts and also by conducting informal debates to develop the students’ innovative and critical thinking apart from making the concepts more meaningful and interesting. • Use effective teaching strategies which engages and challenges students; implement actions appropriate to their needs and curriculum demands. • Effectively plan lessons and implement with focus on the TM and TTT; most importantly to monitor students understanding and constructive feedback. • Prepare relevant assessments and assignments based on the students’ understanding levels as well as covering the practiced skills; provide productive feedback, set goals and consequent action plans. • Most importantly, maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment to encourage the students to participate in discussion and share their ideas. Let the students work effectively in groups, individually or in pairs by giving the required autonomy to work productively.
