Kukatpally, Hyderabad Online Classes Tutor's home Started learning at the age of six from my mother Shrimati Karpagavalli Gopalakrishnan who was a disciple of Ranga Ramanuja Ayyangar of Kriti Mani Malai fame. The style of veena playing is derived from that of the legendary Veena Dhanammal. My first concert was at the age of nine in New Delhi. I have gine on to perform for established organizations like Music Academy, Madras (1775, 2002 when I was adjudged the best instrumentalist in the sub-senior category, Sri Krishna gana Sabha, Swati Tirunal Sangeetha Sabha (Tiruvanantapuram),Kalasagaram (Secunderabad),Indian Fine Arts Society etc.I was invited to Paris twice(CNRS for delivering lecdems,.I have performed at Boston, Amsterdam was the inaugural SPICMACAY recital for the Lincoln, Nebraska chapter in 1993 etc.
