Hi.. If you are learning under a proper guru, then you can practise that day's or week's lesson in 3 speeds.
First slow, next medium & finally fast.
Vilambit, Madhya & Dhrut kalaas.
Then you will master any lesson.
Clarity is important while practising these speeds.
Every syllable or sound you must be able to hear properly.. Take your time.. Don't jump in for fast speed.
Playing slow tempo is utmost difficult in handling balance.
Also you can use metronome in mobile app or youtube also for any speed.
You can simultaneously practise with metronome.
Cheers.. All the best.
