Acceptance testing is of two types: Alpha Testing and Beta Testing.
Alpha Testing is the one which is performed in a production simulated environment,at developer's location once the product is ready for client delivery.
While Beta Testing is performed in similar environment,at client's location.

Browser compaibility testing can be performed using different browsers.You can install different bowsers like IE,Edge,Firefox,Chrome,Opera etc on your system and open your application using them one by one.You can run same set of test cases with each browser and validate if your application is compatible with these browsers.
