IdentityI’m Surya, and I’ll be your guide in exploring the art and craft of photography. My journey started with formal training at the Mind Screen Film Institute, where I studied under Rajiv Menon ISC, one of the best in the field. From there, I had the opportunity to work with Ravi Varman ISC on big projects like Indian 2, Indian 3, and Japan, and collaborate on music videos with director Ram Gopal Varma.
Photography and cinematography have been my passion for years, and my work has taken me through a wide range of styles and techniques. I’ll be sharing not only the technical know-how on lighting, composition, and lenses but also insights from my professional experiences—like capturing shots on tight schedules or working within creative constraints.
Most importantly, I aim to help each of you find your own voice as a photographer. Whether you're here to build a career or simply grow in your creative expression, I look forward to learning and exploring with you in our classes. Let's make some amazing images together!
