Teaching Experience in detail in Drawing Classes

Being academically trained in Painting, I have experienced co-learning with the grade levels of I-X by securing a teaching position for thirteen months in the Phoenix Greens School of Learning in Hyderabad. During that phase of my teaching years, I qualified UGC-NET examination in 2018. In the year 2017, I have completed my post-graduation (MFA) in Painting from S.N. School of Arts & Communication, University of Hyderabad and graduated (BFA) in the same field from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, in 2014. Since I relocated to Kolkata, I have been engaged in practicing art focusing on multi-disciplines expanding my area of research. With the support of national-level grants, I have been developing several art projects in the last few years following my research on consciousness, physical & psychological inputs, behavioral patterns, consumptions, rituals, transformational learning, energy, and others related to memories. Presently, I relook at my practice through developing a perspective on ecological concerns condensed from my journey of nurturing personal memories of displacement. I research on rooted connection to behavioral & psychological transformations in the time of present socio-ecological situations. Besides nurturing traditional mediums such as Painting or Drawing, working interdisciplinary has also inspired me to acquire many new technical skills over the years which include Photoshop, Premier pro, Videography, Photography, MS word, MS Powerpoint to name a few. I acquired extensive knowledge on managing wet waste and composting methods upon working on socially engaged art projects throughout the last few years. Being engaged with youth minds in my previous school, together we enjoyed exploring the unlimited possibilities with the integration of various mediums such as Paper pulp Crafts & Sculptures, Water colors, Motif designing, and other creative mediums. Over the years in my academic & professional career, I have gained knowledge on various other mediums such as block printing, wood cut print, stagecraft, mask making, eco friendly wrapper making, gift box making, collage making, alpana designing, 3d modeling, Terracotta, wearable crafts etc., which I use in multiple ways to excite my students depending on feasibility. As a professional, I focus on fostering relationships with my students through fun-filled activities to integrate their interests with my lesson plans. My goal has always been to help and inspire students to implement the information and techniques they learn in my class to develop their unique perspectives in life.
