The aim of this program is to educate students and professional to secure jobs in the field of embedded linux systems. Through this programs people can learn to build embedded systems based on linux, port x86 applications on to embedded architectures such as ARM, PowerPC etc., debug and write simple drivers for the onboard devices.

Assembly language programming experience on microcontrollers. Knowledge of various interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, SDIO, LCD, TIMER, RTC. Knowledge of different memory intefaces. Real-ime operating system (RTOS). General operating system such as Linux. Porting of operating system on to the developent board. Writing applications with and without operating systems. Implementing the various interfaces with and without OS. Developing device drivers for a custom board.
