multi programming skills are important in order to get hired in software industry.both c and c++ are among top 5 languages.It's good t have expertise in C and C++

How much RAM should I allocate in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS for VMware? I have 4GB RAM.

I think ,8GB RAM is better to allocate for VMware.because previously,i done,it is slow.So,better to allocate 8GB RAM

That's not a point,but important thing is C is also plays key role in order to grab the job opportunity.From C language,C++ and Java,other languages easy to learn.That's why depends upon market importance is given to C than Linux note:- C in Linux is very good

Is it possible to do web development in Linux OS that is installed on a virtual machine, the host of which is Windows?

Yes,it is possible,because it works like in real OS.Because everything is virtualised even hardware also.Hardware is designed accordingly to support virtualisation.No technique. of real time projects working in VMs in Cloud Service Provider Ex.. Microsoft Azure
