My goal of work is to develop algorithm which recognizes sea specie (Image Recognition) using deep learning. Before that I worked as an Associate Solution Leader in Brane Enterprises private limited, Hyderabad, India. Here I am associated with the projects of NLP , deep learning and AI projects.
I worked as a Post doctorate researcher under the supervision of Thomas Hellström in Computing Science Department, Umea University, Sweden and think; this job will give my carrier a new direction and strong platform. I am associated with two projects one is visual language grounding for human robot interaction and human robot teaming. In first project we tried to make robot effective for elderly age people, disabled persons. During my Post Doc I took few classes of Human-Robot-Interaction as a guest lecturer. I helped master’s and Ph.D. students into their thesis work. During mu Postdoc tenure I worked on verbal human robot interaction with robotics group where I am trying to develop algorithms related to language grounding, human robot teaming. I have worked One and half year in eclerx, Mumbai, India as a data scientist where I developed algorithms related to machine learning and natural language processing. I also supervised junior team members during the projects. I have done my Ph.D. in Information Technology from Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (www.iiita.ac.in), India. I have taken three subjects (Soft Computing (4 credits), Robotics (4 credits) and Industrial Automation and Research Methodology (4 credits)) as my course work and obtained an outstanding grade A+ (10/10). These three courses will cover a wide range of topics in the various areas of Soft Computing, Machine Learning and Robotics etc. My Ph.D. thesis on Human robot interaction through speech and gestures and according to that robot will react. In this area, there are various challenges in real time implementation like establishing interaction through gesture using vision-based learning technique etc. My research interest includes, Human Robot Interaction, Indian Sign Language, and Machine Learning. The objective of my Ph.D. research is to create a framework for human robot interaction using multimodal environment where speech and gesture have been extensively used to accomplish this task. Where we basically used combination of Indian Sign Language (ISL) gestures and corresponding speech voices. I strongly feel that I have obtained a good amount of research publications at my disposal which speaks itself of my research ability in the domain of human robot interaction, language grounding, human robot teaming. During my third and fourth year of Ph.D. I took few classes of soft computing, robotics and industrial automation together with my supervisor. For the past 5 months before joining PhD program as full-time research scholar I worked as an Assistant professor in United Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India where I developed my teaching skills and always seek for new challenges and opportunity for further develop my teaching and research skills. I taught subjects algorithm and graph theory during my job and I worked as a teaching assistance (soft computing, humanoid robotics subjects) with my supervisor. These skills, pooled with my educational background in computer science, make me a deserving candidate for this position.
