In my previous teaching experiences, I noticed that students were struggling to grasp the core concepts, leading to their difficulties in understanding and applying the subject matter in their B.tech exams. There seemed to be a lack of effective teaching methods, resulting in a gap between the instructor's delivery and the students' comprehension. Furthermore, there was a noticeable lack of interest among the students. To address these challenges, I adopted a realistic teaching approach that aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical understanding. I utilized various real-life examples to illustrate the points, helping students relate the subject matter to their everyday experiences. By doing so, I aimed to ignite their interest and make the subject more engaging. In the field of engineering, creative and apt thinking is highly valued. Recognizing this, I encouraged my students to develop their critical thinking skills and foster a mindset that actively promotes creativity. By nurturing their ability to think analytically and approach problems from different angles, I aimed to instill a genuine enthusiasm for the subject and empower them to excel in their studies. Overall, my teaching experiences have highlighted the importance of presenting complex concepts in a relatable manner, stimulating students' interest, and fostering their creative thinking abilities.
