I am a graduate in Computer Science from St. Francis College for Women, Begumpet, with a passion for Carnatic Vocal Music. After my graduation, I worked at Deloitte for more than a year, and I have around 3 years of experience teaching music to various students at home. My guru in Carnatic Vocal Music is D. Raghavachary Garu ( Hyderabad Brothers ), a profound Vocalist who has given many stage performances.
Under the guidance of my guru, I completed my certificate exam in Carnatic Vocal Music from Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad in the year 2016, and recently completed my Diploma in the same in 2023 July. My key skills are in communication, creativity, the ability to connect with people of different age groups, and sincerity in my work. I also have ways of making the class interactive to students in order to prevent boredom, by hosting games to make the basic lessons of Carnatic Music interesting, as they can feel a bit monotonous at times, and creating puzzles to help students improve their swarasthanas. I also have experience in teaching slight, and some theoretical aspects of Music, both Carnatic and Hindustani. I am very eager to connect with students who share the same passion and enthusiasm in diving deep into the world of music.
