I am working as a technical associate in a dbt- (bric) centre for dna fingerprinting and diagnostics and I work in sophisticated equipment facility. I am in charge of flow cytometric analysis, fluorescence activated cell sorting, confocal microscopy and super resolution microscopy. I joined cdfd in 2023 October, before that I was doing project in diagnostic department in the same institute where I gained practical experience in chromosomal analysis for detecting chromosomal disorders. I also gained in different types of banding (staining techniques) in chromosome and fluorescence in situ hybridization. Previously I had completed pgd course in molecular diagnostics from iuccgt at kerala university. Masters I did from central university of kerala in department of biochemistry and molecular biology. ( msc biochemistry). I got selected for csir neist summer research training program in 2020 during my masters. I had also qualified nii PhD entrance exam in 2021. My style of teaching accompanies instilling students with a habit of figuring out answers for the five big ws and I like to keep things as simplified as possible with simple analogy ( works every time ).
