Course Description:

This course will introduce you to the Medical related German Language. It will give you the necessary healthcare aspects to keep in mind. You can freely and confidently talk to the German patients. It is an introduction to the language typically used in hospital life. It prepares students for the use of the language in specifically in daily patient checkup routine contexts. Throughout the course, the students will practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking on topics relevant to Medicine. Students will be expanding specific vocabulary and reviewing some grammar points to further accuracy and fluency. 

During the course, the students will work with such topics as: 

• Meeting the patients for the first time
• Health-related inquiries, important places to understand health problems;
• Medicins & prescription instruction phrases 
• Part-Time Job search and job interviews; •Day-to-day life;
