I am Sandeep. I am from Hyderabad. I completed my B. Tech in 2015. I have around 5 years of experience as an oracle DBA[3 years oracle & 2 years Teradata] and I am currently working for TERADATA, Hyderabad.

I have good working experience in Oracle Core database activities like space management, user management, database links, data pump, rman backups, schema refresh, database refresh, DB Software installation, database creation, patching, upgrading database, data guard, OEM and RAC.

Day to day activities ?


1) We get space related, user access related, dblink related, Backup, data guard sync related issues regularly.
2) Based on the user requirement we perform Table, schema, Full db refresh.
3) We also perform monthly maintenance activities like restarting the database services.
4) We have around 40 + databases including prod and non prod for our customer(project). We have database versions of 11.2.0.4, 12.1.0.2 and 19.3. We have recently started a POC(Proof Of Concept) on upgrading all our 11g , 12c databases to 19c as the support is ending for 11g & 12c.
