Roles and Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Development
• Design a structured syllabus covering Python, R, and data science concepts, tailored for beginners and intermediate learners.
• Include real-world case studies and projects for hands-on learning.
2. Teaching and Mentorship
• Explain key topics such as data wrangling, visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Demonstrate practical coding using tools like Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn (Python), and ggplot2, dplyr, tidyr (R).
• Offer live coding sessions and debugging support.
• Mentor students on best practices, industry standards, and career guidance.
3. Hands-on Projects and Assignments
• Provide real-world datasets for students to analyze.
• Assign tasks that mimic industry challenges to build problem-solving skills.
• Encourage students to create GitHub repositories and Kaggle profiles for portfolio building.
4. Assessment and Feedback
• Conduct quizzes, coding exercises, and mini-projects to assess progress.
• Provide constructive feedback on code quality and data science approaches.
5. Industry Insights and Career Support
• Guide students on career paths in data science, data engineering, and AI.
• Help them build strong resumes and LinkedIn profiles.
• Conduct mock interviews and discuss real-world data science problems.
6. Collaboration and Community Building
• Create a learning community through forums, study groups, or Discord/Slack channels.
• Organize hackathons, data challenges, or guest lectures from industry professionals.
