"I am attending the data science course with data labs. I wanted to get into the world of data science for this i explored various available in Hyderabad. But one of my friend recommended me data labs and i joined the classes based on his recommendation and one and half month into the course i would say i have taken a correct decision. classes are taken by Ramesh Kumam, focus of Ramesh sir is more on concept building rather than teaching tools. I would say if you want to build good knowledge base with strong foundation you can join data labs classes. "

"When you know how to do a multiplication, you can use a tool of your choice, be it a scientific calculator, Excel, R or Python to accomplish the task. When you don't know how to multiply, you have to find a place where you are taught Multiplication thoroughly first. The same approach is followed at Data Labs, where you are taught Data Science as a subject. The training aims to provide a foundation to the student and equip him/her to pursue his/her interest further in the subject, simultaneously increasing his/her employ ability. Do not come expecting to be taught software tools for data science as the course does not predominantly focus on them. This isn't a place where you get hoodwinked by cool search engine keywords like R, Python, SQL etc., "Let me teach you something which you can't learn on your own" is what my trainer told me. "Rather concentrate on software in Datalabs mostly Ramesh Sir will concentrate on subject which is essential for a data scientist. This will answer so many questions one can have while using the software tools with out having subject knowledge. "I am one month in to the course and i have a learned more than i have since the time i decided to take a plunge into data science. There is this misconception which is shared by many, that if you know a tool like R/python/SAS, you are good to go. I hate to break it you, that is so not true. Knowing a tool like R or python is good in its own way but that won’t suffice to sustain in the field of data science. What you will learn at Datalabs: 1. Get the intuition for various statistical concepts and understand the nuts and bolts of the same. 2. The course-ware is a bit heavy on math, but that should not deter you from learning as Ramesh sir will you walk you through the math step by step. You will appreciate the importance of math as the course progresses. 3. Daily assignments to implement what you have learned in the class. What you will not learn at Data-labs: 1. You will not learn the tools used in data science. However, real time examples and problems in data science are worked out in the class using excel and mini-tab. The tools used are only for the purpose of demonstration. About the instructor: I am not going to talk about Ramesh sir’s credentials here. They speak for themselves. What I can I tell you is that you will be learning the subject from someone who not only possess deep knowledge about the subject but also passionate to teach and share his knowledge with his students. That’s a mark of great mentor. "
