This course is for absolute beginners. By beginners, I mean everybody from Sarali to Geetas to Swarajatis. Since I teach basics in 6 speeds, i.e. per beat 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 Aksharas, I expect them to join this course first to build a strong control over the vocal cords. Here are a few things you can expect if you take this course.

* Can sing fluent and crisp Gamakas (It further depends on how well the student practices)

* There would be around 4 - 5 students in a group class and the time would be split equally. Students can learn a lot from other students' mistakes and what is taught to them.

* In one-on-one class, the student is given the entire time and can make the most use of the Guru.

* Knowledge about Swaras (Sapta, Dwadasha, Shodasha), ragas (simple)

Here are a few prerequisites that a student is expected to do.

* Shruthi is mandatory

* Metronome would be appreciated

* Student is expected to be regular to class

* Student is expected to be on time to make maximum use of the resources

* Student is expected to practice every day for at least 30 mins
