TL;DR I recommend React for easy and deep learning.
Spend a week on each framework in learning and applying, you'll get some idea how things are implemented in React and Angular.
Both are great frameworks, but the learning curve varies from React to Angular.
For React, learn once and keep improving over the time, so that you can become master in it.
For Angular, Google keep on updating and revamping the library, for every new version you've to update the whole application and look back what you've done earlier.
Open Source community for both the frameworks is great.
