Sweta Chakraborty

Currently I work in Quality Assurance department at Bio-pharmaceutical industry. I have completed M.Sc in Applied Microbiology from VIT University,Vellore. I have worked on variety kinds of projects such as Extraction of Bacterial EPS for bio-medical application,Potent phytocompounds against gram-positive nosocomial pathogen,Extraction of crude oil degrading bacteria,Isolation and screening of keratinase producing marine microorganisms. I have also done 7 month internship in genomics research. During internship period I worked with various kinds of genetic disorders, their pattern of inheritance,functions,mechanisms etc. While working at a pharma industry I learnt vial issuance,documentation,verifying standard operating procedures,cell bank management,Monitoring various lab work during batch running.
