This course is for Engineering Graduate and Diploma students of First Year who have Basic Engineering Drawing as one of the fundamental subjects in their curriculum.
This course is specially designed for Tech students(Circuits branch and IT/CSE branch) who are from slide different branches like Civil, Mechanical, etc. However, It is a very important subject in Civil and Mechanical Engineering.
Drawing is the Graphical means of expression of technical details without the barrier of a language. Engineering Drawing is the Universal Language for Engineers. You will learn from the basics of engineering drawing to the core of engineering drawing i.e. Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
You need to bring the following:
- Drawing sheet: A1[594mmx841mm] or A2[420mmx594mm]
- Drawing board: D1[1000mmx700mm] or D2[700mmx500mm]
- Mini drafter: An L-shaped scale graduated in millimeters also has a degree scale for angle measurement.
- Pencil sharpener and Eraser: Non Dust eraser
- Pencils/ Lead sticks: B, HB, H, and 2H
- Protractor: 0o to 180o and 0o to 36o
- French curves: Sets of 6,12,16.
- Templates: Symbols and Shapes and Letters (A-Z)
- Paper Holders, Board Clips, Drawing Pins Duster or handkerchief: As required
- Set squares: A set of 45° set square and 30°-60° set-square
- Compass: One large compass and the other a small spring bow compass
- Divider: One large divider and the other small spring bow divider.
- Scales: Plain(15cm & 30cm) and Diagonal
